Matthew 25:35 “For I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink.”

On the 4th Sunday of each month, the Feed the Homeless Ministry at Sts. Peter and Paul Church works to bring nutritious meals to the Men’s Coalition of the Homeless in Downtown Orlando.  Our purpose is to provide parishioners a way to respond to God’s call to help those in need. The Feed the Homeless Ministry collects contributions of food from parishioners as well as baked goods from local businesses. Monetary donations are also accepted.

There are four aspects to the Ministry:

  1. Purchase bulk food and deliver to the Coalition (third week of the month)

  2. Purchase and prepare food in Church kitchen; deliver to Coalition on 4th Sunday afternoon. (When we are able to use the Parish Hall Kitchen again!)

  3. Preparation at homes by parish families – On forth Sunday of the month drop off at Church; Volunteers delivery to Coalition

  4. Purchase ingredients and prepare sandwiches (fourth Sunday of the month) for delivery to Coalition (after we can get back to parish hall.)

If you would like to help prepare food and drop it off here are a few suggestions:
