Scouts, Troop 613 & 4613

Sts. Peter and Paul Church hosts two scout troops: Troop 613 for boys and Troop 4613 for girls. Troop 613 was originally chartered in 1973 and Troop 4613 was charted in 2020. So far, 68 boys and 3 girls have earned the Eagle rank, Scouting’s highest honor. The purpose of Scouts BSA is to build character, to train youth in responsibilities of citizenship, and to teach outdoor skills, teamwork, and leadership. Both troops normally meet *Sunday evenings in the Parish Hall (When the hall is not available troops will temporarily meet in classrooms or at the American Legion). Activities include monthly camp-outs, summer camp, as well as church and community service projects. Girls and Boys 11 to 18 are invited to join.

*Fingerprinting may be required for adult volunteers
