Ushers

The Ushers at Sts. Peter and Paul are a dedicated group of men and women of all ages and backgrounds. We share our time each week by arriving early to make sure the church is ready for Mass, then we greet and find seating for all those attending. During the Mass, we work in the background to assure the smooth flow of the Mass by taking up the collection and orchestrating a safe and orderly flow for communion. Following Mass, we hand out the weekly bulletins and make sure the church is ready for the next Mass. Ushers may also be called upon to assist at other liturgies on an as needed basis. We are also responsible for handling any incidents that may show up, like a bandage for a cut finger or calling the proper authorities in case of an emergency. 

We are always in need of new members to assist us in this ministry. If you think you could be of service and would like to join this ministry, please ask any usher; they will be glad to assist you.
